Ales Praznikar is a Weinakademiker and neurologist working in the field of neurological rehabilitation. Currently working as a medical director of a specialised hospital in Scotland and as a consultant of Neurology in Glasgow’s institute for neurological sciences at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and a lecturer at Glasgow University Medical Faculty.

This webinar is all about the evolution, anatomy and physiology of human smelling and tasting abilities. Ales will inform us what is new in the field of sensory perception of odorous and tasting substances, about the differences between us, context influences on smell and taste as well as on the objectivity of sensory evaluation of wine.
