We are very happy to invite you to our 22nd Weinakademiker Workshop in Geisenheim from September 18–19 2026 held in Geisenheim/Germany (Hochschule Geisenheim University, Von-Lade-Strasse 1, 65366 Geisenheim, Germany).

On Friday afternoon we will focus on hot enological topics: “Winemaking according to Organic / Bio-Dynamic rules – what makes the difference towards conventional winemaking” and “Natural Wine/Low intervention wine from enological perspective” by Dr. Matthias Schmitt of Geisenheim University.

Friday evening the traditional VDP tasting with Große Gewächse from Rheingau will follow at Leitz winery including a light “Vesper” snack. Leading Rheingau producers will pour their wines.

On Saturday two master classes will take place: An “Argentina master class” with Weinakademiker Luciano Wehrli, wine educator, Vinademy and “The new wines of Greece” with Sofia Perpera, Greek Wine Federation.

SAVE THE DATE – The Weinakademiker Graduation Ceremony 2026 will take place at Schloss Johannisberg in Geisenheim in the evening of Sat, 21 November 2026. On graduation day Christian Zechmeister will run a Burgenland masterclass in the afternoon of the day.
