Special Event "Soil and Wine Diversity" #4
The soil has a decisive influence on the sensory characteristics and quality of the wine grown on it. But what role does the winegrower play in the process of making the soil transparent and tangible in the wine glass? What influence do viticultural measures, climate change and cellar economic aspects have on the sensory characteristics of the terroir? The fourth lecture and excursion event of this kind for Weinakademiker, sommeliers, gastronomy, trade, other experts and winegrowers, which is intensively dedicated to this topic, is hosted by the Fränkische Weinbauverband, das Silvaner Forum, der Bezirk Unterfranken und die Bayerische Landesanstalt für Weinbau und Gartenbau in Würzburg from 1.7. - 2.7.2019.
Experts from Franconia, Neustadt, London, South Tyrol and Australia, as well as top winegrowers with their plants, will try to shed light on the connections between soil and wine diversity.
